With hydrocodone being the most frequently prescribed opiate, is it any wonder that addiction to hydrocodone is the most common. In this country, hydrocodone is the most commonly diverted and abused phamaceutical.
No wonder addiction to hydrocodone has consistently been on the rise.

I thought there was just Vicodin and Lortab, name brands for hydrocodone. I didn't realize there were so many other products combined with hydrocodone, all for pain. to mention a few u have Lorcet ,Norco, Nexia, Vicoprofen n ot to mention cough syrups that contain hydrocodone.
Read carefully what is in the script ur doctor gave u to help prevent getting addicted to

Right now hydrocodone products containing no more than 15 milligrams of hydrocodone are listed by the DEA as a schedule III drug which is less monitored than schedule II drugs such as percocet. The DEA is thinking about moving up to a schedule II to make it harder to get .
I don't think that will happen anytime soon cuz the pharmaceutical companies will not like it. that woulkd WAY decrease
