There are many different kinds of addictions out there. Such as drugs, alcohol, and even addictions to gambling or even compulsive shopping! And there is a way out!! Twelve-step programs are unfortunatly not a very good source to get off of drugs or anyother kind of addiction because on average they only have a 30 something pecent success rate. Addicts need a rehab that has a higher success rate.

People who are abusing drugs or alcohol need to realize that you do not have very many choices left. Except that you will go to jail, die, or get sober; thats all there is to it no buts or whats about it!! Unfortuantly most twelve step programs do not have the technology to keep a person sober for the long run. People who are addicted need a program with a high success rate, life courses, and ways to pull the drugs form your system so that the person will not have cravings anymore!!

Addiction to hydrocodone is just as bad as herion. Just because I got it from a doctor did'nt make it right, The drugs did'nt distinguish the difference when it decided to seize me with addiction. legal or illegal the outcome is the same. It takes your life away just as quick. BE CAUSE NOT EFFECT ! Choose rehab !

I made a good friend in treatment. we were both suffering from addiction to hydrocodone. I took the program seriously while she couldn't quite believe she could live without hydrocodone. We both completed the program. I have a good clean life today drug free, she went to her doctor one week. after getting out and is now hooked on heroin and on her way back to treatment. Take addiction to hydrocodone seriously and when you get help, take it very seriously, it is your life.

A lot of people think an addiction to hydrocodone can't happen to them because they are legal and not street drugs. Look in the rehabs across the country and see how just as many if not more people have an addiction to hydrocodone because they started out getting it at the doctors' office.

I battled and defeated addiction to hydrocodone to find out my sisters' son is addicted to hydrocodone who learned about it from another school friend who's doctor prescribed it. It goes to show that addiction to hydrocodone shows no mercy to anyone who takes it, even to just try it once.

Addiction to hydrocodone is not cheap. I thought it cost alot going to doctors to get scripts, but buying it on the street is even more expensive. But, what can u do if u have an addiction to hydrocodone? Treatment is probably cheaper in the long run.

I thought there was just Vicodin and Lortab, name brands for hydrocodone. I didn't realize there were so many other products combined with hydrocodone, all for pain. to mention a few u have Lorcet ,Norco, Nexia, Vicoprofen n ot to mention cough syrups that contain hydrocodone.

Read carefully what is in the script ur doctor gave u to help prevent getting addicted to hydrocodone.

You start taking a few pain pilss for an ouchie. You continue to take them when the ouchie is gone until the script is gone. Amazingly, you have to go back to the doctor in a few months cuz you hurt somewhere and start getting refills See how easily it progresses?

You would think that doctors who are aware of the epidemic of addiction to hydrocodone would be more careful; on how they prescribe it. Anyone who has any aches or pains can get hydrocodone.From ages 10 to 99 doctors will prscribe it. No wonder so mamy people are addicted to it.
