There are many different kinds of addictions out there. Such as drugs, alcohol, and even addictions to gambling or even compulsive shopping! And there is a way out!! Twelve-step programs are unfortunatly not a very good source to get off of drugs or anyother kind of addiction because on average they only have a 30 something pecent success rate. Addicts need a rehab that has a higher success rate.

People who are abusing drugs or alcohol need to realize that you do not have very many choices left. Except that you will go to jail, die, or get sober; thats all there is to it no buts or whats about it!! Unfortuantly most twelve step programs do not have the technology to keep a person sober for the long run. People who are addicted need a program with a high success rate, life courses, and ways to pull the drugs form your system so that the person will not have cravings anymore!!

I have been there done that, wrote the book and read back over it. I know what it takes to get away from addiction to any substance/drug. People need a rehab with a high success rate and life courses.

I was an addicted to hydrocodone for 6 years of my life. I never thought something prescribed to me could be bad for me. It was easy at first to say I didn't have a problem but it was harder to admit to myself that it was my problem. It wasn't till I found a place like the one this site that I found an answer to my hydrocodone addiction. I am happy to say I have been free of hydrocodone for over a year and work at the rehab that helped me.

Nobody plans on taking the script their doctor writes and end up with an addiction to hydroocodone. So don't! Research a script and ask yoyr doctor questions so you can take it the right way and not end up with an addiction to hydrocodone.

I made a good friend in treatment. we were both suffering from addiction to hydrocodone. I took the program seriously while she couldn't quite believe she could live without hydrocodone. We both completed the program. I have a good clean life today drug free, she went to her doctor one week. after getting out and is now hooked on heroin and on her way back to treatment. Take addiction to hydrocodone seriously and when you get help, take it very seriously, it is your life.

I battled and defeated addiction to hydrocodone to find out my sisters' son is addicted to hydrocodone who learned about it from another school friend who's doctor prescribed it. It goes to show that addiction to hydrocodone shows no mercy to anyone who takes it, even to just try it once.

We were sitting around talking, five of us, and three of us had beat our addictioon to hydrcodone, one's wife is addicted to hydrocodone and the others son is showing symptoms of addiction to hydrocodone. Addiction to hydrocodone cost me my career. I worked in the medical field for twenty years in the ER. At the end I ended up having an emergency surgery where I could not function at all without hydrocodone. I could not take care of myself much less others. Addiction to hydrocodone took away my joy for living. I always enjoyed being around people before I became addicted to hydrocodone. Hydrocodone turned on me and became my only joy and when I had none my worst nightmare. I went to a long term in-patient rehab and am no longer addicted to hydrocodone. I found my joy for people and am actually working at the rehab I cleaned up at. If I can beat addiction to hydrocodone, you can do it. It's worth it.

A friends' grandmother was afraid to get prescribed hydrocodone after a surgery. She was afraid she would become addicted to it like her granddaughter did but mainly afraid the granddaughter would have her friends rob her for her prescription. Frightening what an addcition to hydrocodone can do.

The more u take the more u need causes addiction to hydrocodone. U keep trying to get the initial high 2 pills gave u. Take as prescribed and prevent being addicted to hydrocodone.
